You yank your arm away, panicking.
Facing such terrifying foes, you sprint back then turn into the garden, rounding the house as quickly as you can.
There is a bang.
Gunfire.
Something hits the stonework, but you keep going.
Half a minute later, you stop and crouch by a bush, panting. Footsteps are following, and someone is coming from the other direction, too. A shambling walk; groaning… It sounds like a zombie, not a human.
To one side is a small shed. Is its door unlocked? You’re not sure. But with fences all around, it may be your only option…
