The numbers aligned the stars were in order beyond what we could have dreamed an experience more than it seemed

We shared our home we shared our hearts we worked toward goals adopted parent roles

Together we traveled seeing people and places learning many faces you gained perspectives through experiences you selected

Your wide smile split two worlds apart by miles one filled with promises of success like a fairytale and one telling of a family reunion in jail

We lifted up your power to choose your next steps holding the past as lessons but heading no way but up

Some experiences we plan for some came out of the blue none was more meaningful then the one leading us to you
