“The Element Of Our Existence.”

I have several. My first thought was my writing. Something more temporal than spiritual. But then I thought about it a bit more, and added to it, not in any order of preference. My family. My husband and my Heavenly Father. My writing. And they all boil down to love. I love my family, husband, God, and my writing.

Ahh, the joys of chocolate :)

Oh, and we mustn’t forget food. Especially chocolate. I don’t know if you know, but chocolate can make anything better! Don’t believe me? Give it a try. The next time you’re upset about something, have a piece of chocolate. Maybe a bite of a candy bar. Even several chocolate chips will do in a pinch. Bonus points for you if they’re sugar free. See how you feel afterwards.

More Elements

Love brings out my fierceness and my joy. Love also is where I feel my greatest moments of happiness and my deepest depths of despair.

I live for my family and husband. Without them I don’t know what I’d do.

My God is there to strengthen me, help me keep going when things are hard. This is a work in progress for me to trust in Him like I know is possible.

Writing

And writing. My writing gives meaning to my days. Writing is helping me get out of my depression. I feel good about what I do. When I worry I don’t have the energy to do certain things I used to do, my writing helps me to understand where those thoughts are coming from. I’m able to better process them and not let them control me, like they once did.

Because I write every day, I don’t have time to feel anxiety filling my thoughts. Instead, I have words crowding out the fear in order to make my thoughts easier for others to read. To make my stories come alive on ‘paper’.

Again, it all boils down to love for me. Love is the greatest element of all.
