The Eclectic Nature of Indian Streets
Week 27 of my photo diary from 11th to 17th April 2022
This week, it was my turn to give the street photography challenge to Anne Bonfert! And while I did it, because my husband and I were going on an almost two-week road trip, I had so much fun catching different perspectives from far and near.
Going on road trips makes you humble. If it’s a long one, we usually get ultra bored and have nothing to do other than listen to songs or talk. Or best, sleep. At least, that’s how it was for me until now. But this time, I was wide awake, sticking my eyeballs to the windows (if they were closed) or stretching out half my body outside the car to catch something cool.
Most of the photos were taken on the move when my husband was driving the car.

I loved the sun’s rays tickling the surface of the mall and the grandness of clouds behind the tower. The sky patterns were surprisingly unique throughout that particular week.

I witnessed hundreds of birds flying in the same direction near the temple on the way somewhere. And I was awed by it because it’s so rare to see so many birds flying together here! I immediately asked him to stop the car to click the shot (the temple was on his side).

How can I miss tender coconut shops in a street photography challenge? If you’re an Indian, you’ll know what I’m talking about.

Hey, and because it’s India, animals on the road are a must! There’s something beautiful about groups of animals walking in rural India, with their head guiding them on their path.
And what’s street photography or a road trip without signs? The language it’s written in is Kannada, a south Indian language.
I know this is supposed to be the end of the challenge. But I couldn’t help but more three more photos, to let you know that there are other types of roads too.

Thank you, Dennett, for allowing me to be a part of this beautiful community.

Word of mouth is still the best marketing strategy (and no one can deny it). That’s where storytelling, building relationships, and forming connections become crucial for any business. Interested? I’m giving out FREE weekly tips to help YOU make your journey easier!
