The Eagle Swooped On Down

Nature Prompt: Third Week of August: Emotions of bird watching

The eagle swooped on down into the river to catch a fish is such an amazing site.

I only wish my hands were not full at the time so I could have caught a picture of this amazing site. I was just in awe for a few minutes after seeing

Fishing daily we get to sit in the middle of the lake and hear nothing but wildlife. I could live out there. Even when we go to the river and catch fish watching the loons fly past doing their calls. Birds all over flying back and forth doing what they do.

Watching nature from this spot is so amazing. I get to watch every different bird that flies by. I love to throw my fishing pole in and watch nature around me for a bit. I just can’t get over how amazing it is. All the living and breathing animals, the trees. The ducks are fishing most of the time we are out fishing.

I also sit at home and get to watch birds come to my little bird feeder. I will get a bigger one soon and maybe a couple of them. I finally got rid of all the crows pigging up all the little guy’s food lol. They would eat the whole feeder up in one day between the many blackbirds that had come. I just have a small feeder so when I get a bigger one then I won’t mind bigger birds coming.

I can’t remember I think this is a bluejay or woodpecker. Been quite a while since I took this picture and I am still not the best at pictures. This is just a phone camera.

This pretty blackbird would bring his buddies and like I had mentioned it was just a bit too much when all the big birds would come and eat.

This last one is the most beautiful bird yet. Well, I love blue Jays and these cardinals are so beautiful. This is how much birdwatching I get in and how much I enjoy it. As you see I do it all year round and just love to watch them watching me in the window. They are just so adorable and bring me so much joy to watch them.
