As you point out, this document is going to be very bad for trans and gender non-conforming youth. “See! The Vatican, the VATICAN, did all this research and determined that these trans kids are just attention seekers.”
I consider this nothing short of Church sanctioned erasure of trans and gender non-conforming people. The only question left is why I was even the slightest bit surprised by its publication.
