On July 6, 1983, Tammy Lynn Leppert had recently finished filming a few small, but iconic scenes in the movie ‘Scarface’ when she went for a ride with a close and longtime friend.

Very shortly after embarking on their trip, the two quarreled, causing Tammy Lynn to demand to be let out of the car. The friend complied, letting Tammy out at the historic Galls Bank in Pompano Beach, Florida.

Tammy walked a short distance to a local Exxon gas station, where phone and answering machine records indicate that she made three frantic telephone calls to her aunt, who never answered. Shortly after the third call, Tammy simply vanished, never to be seen or heard from again.
