The Diamonds in My Life: Why True Friends Matter
Finding your ride-or-die crew. Why true friends are priceless?

On life’s journey, we all crave for genuine connection. Life is better when we share with those who have our backs, supports us through our struggles and celebrate our wins. The ones who stand by us through thick and thin. These are our ride-or-die friends.
The truth of the matter is that, not everyone that we meet clicks on a deeper level. So understanding these social networks can prove quite tricky. However finding true friends can sometimes feel like finding rare gems.

So, whenever you do happen to find these special people, it is of utmost importance that you cherish them and treat them well.

My true friends enrich my life in a very profound way. They offer me a safe space to be myself, completely and unreservedly. They celebrate my joys, big and small and offer a shoulder to cry on during tough times. My friends challenge me to be the better version of myself and believe in my potential even when I doubt it.

Sincere friendships are a source of warmth, light, and honesty in a society where self-serving and shallow relationships can occasionally seem the norm.

My true friends put the “ride-or-die” in their actions. They’re there to celebrate my small wins or a promotion but most importantly they’re the ones who will answer my call at 3 am whenever I am facing a crisis.

So, I nurture those friendships that brings out the best in me. I make time for those who consistently show me respect, love and kindness. I reciprocate those qualities by being a good listener and offering unwavering support to my friends in return.

I have come to recognise that having a strong friendship is a two way street. So, by investing in these bonds, I am building a support system that will enrich my life for years to come.
So, I always take timeout to celebrate and appreciate my friends because they are the diamonds in my life. They are rare and precious. They are my ride-or-die friends.
