The Desert needs the Rain
To make it live and breathe once again
Every desert needs the sun, the wind and rain, Like every horse needs to run on a green plain. Every soul needs to quench its desire and its thirst, Like every rain cloud does eventually loudly burst.
There is a desert that has not seen rain, It gets so dry and it cracks up with the pain. There is a desert in almost every human heart, That needs to be watered in every artery and every part.
Every soul needs to satisfy its thirst, Happiness is a necessity and should always come first. Yet, there are souls which are as dry as a desert dune, Receiving no water and no breeze from May to June.
Let every desert receive its rain in abundance, Let the earth glisten with joy and radiance. If every desert is watered and its thirst quenched, The land will always be in happiness and joy drenched.
