The Demise Of The Sapien
We have come a long way since the days of hunter-gathers and cave dwellers, It seems we have come so far that we no longer recognize who or what we are, I identify as a disillusioned male in his fifties, but, as a seven-year-old boy told me recently “ these days, you can be a banana if you want”. Does that not just say it all?
If I identify as an alien, I wonder would I still have to pay taxes, that could be a loophole worth exploring.
I am among an ever-declining number of humans who remember when there were no mobile phones, the internet, or labels such as toxic masculinity or manosphere. It seems that I am toxic if, I do not fully embrace my feminine side (which doesn’t exist in any man, we just pretend to like the new hairdo) and if I don’t laud the assertions and delusional proclamations of modern feminists. I would rather nail my nuts to a wooden floor with six-inch nails than be in that camp.
It seems that we are not as smart as we like to think we are, and a bigger brain size doesn’t equate to basic intelligence. Just consider these three indisputable realities.
Hunger
Why are so many people still dying of malnutrition? If a civilization could send people into space and invent airplanes, you would assume they could figure out how to feed everybody. It just seems to be something that eludes mankind or should I say a man-woman kind or nonspecific gender kind, I don’t know anymore, I am sure someone will set me straight if I get any comments on this piece but it seems our priorities are all wrong.
Pollution
We have spewed so many pollutants into the atmosphere that the global climate is as predictable as a post-menopausal Madonna statement. I sometimes think that the dodo isn’t extinct, they are just disguised as humans now. There is no end in sight to this, unfortunately, denial and brown envelopes seem to keep this particular ball rolling. We keep chewing and we keep spewing.
Nuclear Weapons
Give a man enough rope and he will, it seems, hang himself. This one is the real dodo sapien in all its abhorrent, embarrassing, fuckwittedness, just a minute thinking about the absurd horror that is reality makes me reach for the tequila. It really is unbelievable.
Thanks for listening and vote wisely people.
