The day the Earth stopped

I miss the wonderful and perfect world before the Pandemic! We went to Trindade withoug knowing how to get there. We went like an adventurous couple, until I saw the see! Wow! How beautiful! I took out my cell phone and snapped thousands of photos. It was still summer, a strong blue sky and I for so long without seeing the sea. The beach was crowded with people. The inn house facing the sea. And at night, listening to the murmur of the waves, we drank champagne and wine. We were happy and we didnt know. It’s the story of the goat in the room. Get the smelly goat out of the room and the world is perfect again. We cannot and we don’t know when the goat Covid will leave our room. The Earth stopped and our life took a 360 degree turn.
Yesterday I had to leave. I am insecure, of course. I have already given up on hearing this or that opinion. Some people say: stay at home, others say: you can go out. On this blind flight, I preferred to be confined, leaving the house only in cases of extreme need. Oh help, my God! Quarantine doesn’t bother me. I’m homely. I love to be at home.
So, yesterday I left. Before leaving, I got ready, I mean, I put a little pink lipstick, a pencil for the lip contour, I chose some earrings and when I was already heading the door, I remembered: the mask! The blessed mask, yes! Okay, I went there to the mirror and when I put the mask on my face, I remembered the lipstick. I took off the lipstick. When I tried again to fix the blessed mask on my face, the elastic was wrapped around the earring. I managed to unscrew it. So, in this pandemonium of pandemics, I gave up on these female nonsense. Smelling hand-to-tail disinfectant, I’m female only inside the house. Just to joke because we can’t loose the sense of humor.
I have already mixed water with bleach to disinfect everything: door handles, house doors, car keys, remote controls, home floors. Now I learned a new recipe that it is very good with coarse salt. Well, I learned many things, but keeping a distance of 1.5 meters from anyone is the most difficult for me, I am sticky. If someone sees me on the street, it is bettet to avoid me. I aways forget that our life has taken a 360 degree turn, and that we are witnesses of these days when the Earth stopped.
Above all, the greatest learning can be for us to know ourselves a little more in times like these, to develop our self-awareness, our inner map, strenghthening our resilience and our love to others and to Earth, the best place in Universe that has been generously given to us by God.
