The day I discovered that my iPhone was hurting my mind.
I am hooked up with my iPhone, I always have my AirPods Pro with music, and this leads to a threat to my mind : I do not take time to think.
I discovered that because every ideas, specifically writing and coding ideas arrive when I take my shower, after some thinking, I know why : it is the only place where I do not use my phone and I do not listen music, the only place that I am alone with my mind, and this lead me to have so much ideas in quite a few minutes.
From this observation, I’ve come to deduce several rules to allow me to correct this problem, and which can also be used to improve your creativity.
- Firstly, you have to take few minutes to think, several times a day, to capture thinks at different moments of your day. I think you can spend your thinking time by meditating, and use your Apple Watch to do so ! With the reminders of calm moments in the Apple Watch, I really think it can boost creativity by a lot !
- Then, it is important to write our ideas, I personally use the reminders apple app, but things 3 makes me want to spend my money to buy it. Writing down your ideas will allow you not to forget anything, and to organize them, cross-check them, make them evolve, and finally get organized to carry them out.
- Last but not least, try to describe you and your life in the less words as possible, I think it is helpful to do several tries, and reducing your text at every try. It will help you to understand who you are, and earn lucidity about yourself, that is, I think, the best way to reach a new mindset. So it will highlight your qualities and the parameters you can work on to better yourself.
