What I Learned From the Day My Grandmother’s Teeth Fell Out…
What scares you? A long time ago in a house far, far away I was eating tea with my Grandmother. I must have been about 4 or 5 at the time, but still, remember the events that follow vividly.
As we conversed, my Grandmother’s teeth suddenly flew out of her mouth and towards me. I remember screaming and running all the way home alone — It’s okay I lived next door.
Screaming and crying my father scooped me up in his arms and asked what an earth had happened. “Gran’s teeth escaped from her mouth” I sopped, whilst trying to pull my own teeth out!
My Grandmother knocked on the door, explaining the unfortunate events to my parents who found the whole experience hilarious. I learned a valuable lesson that day — the importance of brushing your teeth and regular trips to the dentist!
