The Darkness

A Poem

It is hard to write about love

when pain is all I feel in my heart

It is difficult to write

about the monsters that haunt my soul

when I am still running for my life

It is tough to write about happiness

when sorrow, is the only thing I feel

But, it is easy to write about the darkness

for, that is all that surrounds me.
