The Dark Side of Queen Starlight
Starlight Prompts #2

She always had a wickedly dark side,
Her name, of course, was Queen Starlight,
She emerged from a mind exuberant like the tide,
Bolder still was her arrogance to fright,
Her sexiness with a come hither raised brow,
She caused both men and women to passionately alight,
From her demonstrations of bawdiness and gratification right now,
Forever tantalizing her prey with sheer delight,
This gothic queen is all decked out in black for thou,
From the tips of her shoes to the peak of her crown,
She seethed with wickedness to have a soul in her bed tonight,
And salaciously sat intertwining her black tresses and wondered how,
To seduce a suitor so quickly by the last chime of the hall clock so bright,
Regally poised with a hint of thigh under cream lace now,
Her nails reflected the darkness under her voluminous dress,
Exacting soulless pupils that have been blinded by haste,
In the joy of reaping another man’s finesse,
Her gothic boudoir in her previous lovers’ taste,
Has left her venomous in remembering the last time of desirous caress,
She impatiently broods with difficulty to calculate,
Why her heartless soul is such a mess!
