The Dancing Elephant Press Community — 1

We’re here for each other. Community matters.

This is an original piece of art from our Editor in Chief’s daughter, Andrea. Used with permission.

WELCOME, greetings, hello, hi there, howdy, hey, salutations, and any other expression to say how pleased we are that you’re with the Dancing Elephant Press community.

Is it fair to say we’re all readers, writers, bookworms, storytellers, and people who never met a good story they didn’t like?

We all read and write for different reasons—the why isn’t as important as the fact that we do.

We have always felt as though we have our own virtual online community, a place where readers, authors, and writers can come together to celebrate the magic of literature. Our mission is to create a vibrant space that fosters connection, inspiration, and growth for all lovers of the written word.

We’re wondering if you would like to be more of a part of our collective literary journey. Here’s how you can be a part of this literary journey:

  1. Read the stories that our community writes. They will cause you to think, make you cry, help you remember, or realize that as old as you are, you still don’t know everything. When you’re done, think briefly about the person’s experience that went into the story. PLEASE give feedback as claps and comments. Comments provide encouragement.
  2. Comments can be very helpful. If you want to give a critique, excellent, use the private comment (bubble with a lock) because it’s only between you and the author.
  3. Do you have suggestions for contests besides next year's winter, spring, summer, fall, and Veteran’s Day contests? We’ll find someone to monetize it if it’s needed. That’s my job.
  4. Consider allowing us to interview you. If I’m speaking on a business matter, would the information be easier to understand and accept if you knew I’d had twenty-seven companies? Exactly, an interview gives people some frame of reference. Besides that, I promise I’ll try to make it fun.
  5. While here, you’re connected to like-minded, positive people from all walks of life. We have writers from all over the world. Those still young enough to be considered so and those of us old enough to know that no matter how much we learn, we still don’t know everything.

After the first of the year, we’ll announce even more great things to make this the greatest publication. Please join with us if you haven’t already.

With love from your editors:

Dr. Gabriella Korosi, Vidya Sury, Collecting Smiles, Dr. Preeti Singh, Annelise Lords, and DR Rawson — The Possibilist
