The Dance of Day

Every new day is a day full of opportunities.

At the dawn of golden sky, Hidden behind the silver clouds, The sun tries to sneak a view, To end the dark and blues of night.

The melodious tune the wind plays, Makes the tall trees sway, The crisp leaves dance to its tunes, The wind chimes sing the sweet song too.

The birds chirp loud and swirl so high, Merrily greeting the majestic rise, Filling our morning cups with bliss, Welcomes the glorious rays of sun.

On finding the way, the gleaming sun, Beams precious gold and sparkling glitter, The mesmerised eyes witness the sight, Watching the light take over the sky.

The sweet nectar, the morning essence, Dips our souls in magical potion, Lightens our hearts & brightens our way, Prepares us for the dance of day.

Caressing my tresses like a sweet prayer, Sweetly the breeze whispered in my ears, ‘Let go of the past and worries of tomorrow, Live the moment that’s right here’.
