Fiction Prompt

Welcome to the month of November! We are going to shake things up a bit, but then, what’s new about that, right? On Monday, Wednesday and Friday, I will offer poetry prompts. On Tuesday and Thursday, I will offer fiction prompts. Saturday and Sunday’s prompt will be the Weekend Challenge only. So without further adieu, let’s get on with November’s prompting!

Today’s Fiction prompt

You are a day-trader with an unusual nightlife. Write a scene or full story describing what your nights are like. How does this affect your day job?

Word Length — up to 1000 words Restrictions — Something goes horribly wrong.

‘Restrictions’ are to challenge you as a writer. However, with everything else here at PW, use these prompts in any way that allows the creative juices to flow.
