The Cycle of Life and Death
A poetic journey through the seasons
The cycle of life and death, it flows From springtime blooms to winter snows A journey that we all must take Our earthly fate, we cannot fake
In youth we burst forth with great zeal Full of energy, we start to feel The world around us, fresh and new Endless possibilities in our view
But as we age, we start to see The passing of time, the fading of glee Our bodies weaken, our minds grow wise We come to accept life’s sweet goodbyes
And then the final curtain falls As death comes knocking at our walls Our time on earth has reached its end We bid farewell to family and friend
But in our passing, new life begins The cycle starts anew, a circle that spins A seed is planted, a new bloom grows The cycle of life and death, it flows
So let us cherish each passing day Live life to the fullest, come what may For in the end, it’s not the length But the depth of our journey, our heart’s strength
The cycle of life and death, it flows A journey that we all must know From birth to death, a poetic rhyme The circle of life, eternal in time.
