The usual airport experience is, let’s face it, a bit of a nightmare. Crowds of harassed people, millions of gates, miles to the exit, grumpy staff.

Meet Mont Tremblant airport in the province of Quebec, Canada. It’s so nice you could honestly just stay there for your vacation.

Your turboprop plane lands and pulls up in front of it, just like pulling your car up to your house. You de-plane and walk into the cute log cabin where a lovely rustic scene awaits complete with a granite rock fireplace and comfy sofas. Baggage is quickly brought to you outside on a little truck by friendly staff.

On the return trip, check-in is swift and everyone is pleasant, then you wait for your plane in another snug area with comfy chairs.
