Summary

The author humorously suggests that the phenomenon of curation on Medium is a conspiracy theory due to its seemingly exclusive characteristics.

Abstract

The author humorously explores the idea that the curation process on Medium might be a conspiracy theory, given the unique characteristics shared by writers who have been curated. These writers often write fiction, have a specific hair parting style, and enjoy eating kale. The author finds it suspicious that some writers claim to be curated at a high and predictable rate, which they consider impossible. The author concludes by thanking the reader for their time and inviting them to follow their profile for more stories.

The Curation Theory is Getting Clearer

It’s not aliens, the CIA, nor the Mob

Curation’s very existence may be a conspiracy theory, after all.

I have read the works and documentation of hundreds of Medium writers.

I’ve interviewed many.

I have even watched videos by one perky Medium writer.

I have a file that holds countless screenshots taken by different writers of their efforts.

The handful of writers who boast of any curations, much less several, have a few interesting and similar characteristics. They write fiction, either primarily or in secret. They wear their hair parted on the right side of their head. They willingly eat kale as a part of their regular diet.

Some of these subjects claim to not only be curated but curated to a very predictable and high percentage. Not the claims of sane people, they are simply not possible.

For now, thank you for your time. (my profileTwitter)
