The Crowd Will Probably Go Crazy

When Stupidity Finally Departs

Political posturing usually ain’t my bag so this will probably be my first and last message of this kind. But I wonder how many people just like me have the same thoughts running through their minds about dear old number forty-five.

No, I can’t bring myself to speak his name so let’s just call him POTUS, among several other nicknames he’s been given of late.

Uh, Captain Clorox, immediately springs to mind. Or is that Captain Bone Spurs?

See, the problem with all of this isn’t just POTUS himself (although he’s most of the issue in a bigly kind of way) but rather this recurring and ignorantly toxic affiliation the entire GOP has with his stupidity.

So Captain Clorox suggests there may be a way to kill COVID by ingesting bleach products, and what does the GOP do? They downplay his idiotic comments and do the same damage spin they’ve been doing since he stumbled his way into the White House.

He didn’t mean actually do that they all say. He told us he was being sarcastic.

Sarcastic? Does the entire GOP (along with POTUS) not understand the meaning of sarcastic? Dear GOP and POTUS, here’s what sarcastic means straight from dictionary.com:

“Marked by or given to using irony in order to mock or convey contempt.”

So POTUS’s comments about killing ourselves by ingesting bleach products were mocking us and showing the American public just how much contempt the president of the United States of America has for us?

Wow, can someone get any more stupid than that? Mocking the entire American citizenry on national television? My initial thought was that you dear POTUS either have a set of brass cajones or a brain that would fit on the business end of a stick pin.

I believe the stick pin just won, hands down.

Never before have I witnessed such brazen derision in this county. Instead of the unity we need, we simply have been torn apart. Ripped into silos of non-communicative combatants.

His stupidity has waged war on common sense, on unity, on respect for others, all others, regardless of their race, religion, or national creed.

He has pitted our once great nation against other global entities against our better judgment. He’s made some Americans fearful about proclaiming their birthright aloud for fear of being ostracized.

Never before have I witnessed so much hatred spewing across our once unified land. Never before have I seen so many who believe simply by virtue of the color of their skin they’re entitled to enact and promote violence against others of the Human race who wish nothing more but to live in peace.

You did this POTUS. You and your party with their lips firmly planted on your butt took this country into a state of upheaval and distrust not seen since Mcarthisim in the fifties.

And yet, you hug the flag — our flag — and pretend you actually give a sh*t about us when we all know you don’t. It was never about us was it, Captain Clorox? It was always about stroking that insidious ego of yours wasn’t it? It’s always been all about you and preconceived notions of how great you are, how omnipotent a leader you are.

Eventually, we as a society will come up with a way to take back what you have stolen from us. America has always had its challenges, both external and internal. We have voted in and out of office pompous, ineffectual leaders such as yourself. We’ve made some bad choices and we’ve made some pretty good ones as well.

And when it comes time to have our choices heard this year, we, the common sense people of this land will take a stand. We will make the right choices which may not glue this shattered country of ours back together again immediately, but will at least mend the foundation. It will create a solid base on which we can rebuild.

When the day comes for us to watch you, the ring leader of all this stupidity depart, we’ll be dancing in the aisles. Those of us who were forced to live with your toxic reign will rejoice.

We might even wave goodbye, but probably not because I’m guessing we’ll be partying our as*es off in celebration.

I’m guessing the crowd will probably go crazy when stupidity finally departs.
