The Colors of Life
A dribble of a vibrant girl in a colorless world.

An eternity ago people were born a kaleidoscope of color, now sapped of vibrancy until they’re dog-tired and decrepit. Lives spent chasing only to fade similar to childlike innocence.
Until the girl born with orange hair. Her fingertips write in shimmering gold — crying as her colors slowly became achromatic.

This story is in response to a challenge issued by Diana Thorland to write a Mashup response to Jonathon Sawyer’s Monday Mashup #23. This story is inspired by my wife, the color to my bleak and weary world, Erin Taylor. I would like to extend the challenge to Celia McKinley!
