The Cobalt Blues

A poem

the blue is insidious now — cold and bold cobalt blue hard and prominent — the stain of man hope flickering like the warmth of the fire, the monster saw or the green light that mesmerized Jay Gatsby hard and soft calm and strong

but the truth is I prefer ocean blue turquoise or sepia with a romantic flair and flavors to indulge in when life is so harsh when the deep is so blue — it makes me want to break up with the cobalt blues…
