The Cloud that Got Away: September Prompt
September Six Word Photo Story Challenge: Clouds
Empty space creates love — then disappears.
When I was at the lake on my own, I noticed this shape in the sky. I quickly retrieved my phone and snapped the photo — it disappeared seconds later. My 10-year-old son spotted it right away when I showed him the photo.
Did you identify the shape immediately or did it take you a few moments to figure it out? Please type in the comments what shape you see in the photo.
September’s Six Word Photo Story Challenge
***Update September 29: Cloud submissions close at 11am, Pacific Standard time on September 30, 2021.
September’s challenge is to take some time to look at the clouds in the sky. Children are adept at finding the shapes that clouds magically assemble into, but sometimes it’s the empty spaces between the clouds that are just as wondrous.
I dare you to take the Cloud Challenge!
I dare you to take a photo of the clouds or empty spaces between the clouds and challenge our readers to discover what you see. Write a six-word story that connects to your photo in some way. The photo must be taken by yourself and include your photo credit. For your subtitle: Please use September Six Word Photo Story Challenge: Clouds (like the subtitle used in this article.) Please tag your story using these tags: Monthly Challenge, Photography, Six Word Photo Story.
Freestyle Six Word Photo Stories
You also have the option to write a six-word photo story featuring a photo and topic of your own choosing — as long as the photo and story are connected in some way. The story doesn’t need to be related to the monthly challenge. Please tag your story using these tags: Freestyle, Photography, Six Word Photo Story.
