The Church as Metaphor
Seeds of Truth and Signs That Point to Truth
It’s been awhile since I’ve shared my thoughts on relatively controversial issues. The idea of what the church might actually be is a particularly interesting one, very short and sweet.

The Christian church has seeds of truth and signs that point to truth which unfortunately get missed when people worship the seeds and the signs instead of nurturing and following them.
I consider that the idea of the church is a metaphor. Jesus was not into instituting or promoting religion. He was pointing to a higher collective conscious awareness of who we are which we access from within our own soul. Considering this, I think churchgoers should be open to moving beyond institutional church doctrine, be open to a higher understanding than the past centuries have stalemated in — open to the wisdom from above that Jesus and the mystics have expressed which is accessible through inward awareness of who we are. This awareness is not expressed by debating and promoting ideas, but by entering the kingdom within, that is, by knowing and living our divine soul-life authentically, soul-life that is integral with every soul where all are one with God our Source.
