Walking Meditation
The Christmas Eve Walk
Walking Towards Christmas
Harry left his home at six that evening, He was going to walk on Christmas Eve, All through the night till he saw dawn, He was going to walk into Christmas morn.
As Harry walked through the city street, He saw festive joy in every person he did meet. Harry felt the happiness and joy in the air, The festive spirit was really present everywhere.
Harry picked up a cup of coffee as he walked, Through the busy streets all decorated and lit. Shops were closing late on Christmas Eve, People were returning home to rest and sit.
The winds blew through the empty streets, While the homeless sheltered from the cold. Harry kept walking through the night, Until he was the only one walking that night.
Harry thought of that night in Bethlehem, When a child was waiting to be born. He kept walking meditating on the nativity, Till he reached home that Christmas morn.
