The Choice You Make Makes You
Make the right choices

How many times have we faced situations where we regretted the decisions we made in the past?
I’m sure many.
We wished we had made the right call back then or took our actions a little differently. Every action we take today will influence our future.
Ask what if
As long as we don’t question our thought-process, there is no way we will be able to interpret whether our decisions are right or wrong.
Even if you know you have to go to this party, just ask what if you don’t go. What will be the consequences? Will you lose your friends? Will you lose a great entertainment night? Or can it cause chaos? Is there is a chance of you getting over drunk and God knows what you would do then?
Asking what if and finding all possible roads that you can take not only lets you understand the difference between right and wrong but also lets you be aware of what might happen.
In the above case, you would then be conscious of not getting drunk completely. Because you know what might happen then. You have already given a thought to it.
Understand why you are making the decision
It’s not always possible to make the right call, to make the right decisions.
“To err is human.”
What we can rather do is understand why we made the choice in the first place. Clarity is crucial.
The more clear we are about why we have made that specific choice in those circumstances will give you more peace of mind in the future. You won’t wish you made a different call then. Because you know why you made them, to begin with.
“Attitude is a choice. Happiness is a choice. Optimism is a choice. Kindness is a choice. Giving is a choice. Respect is a choice. Whatever choice you make makes you. Choose wisely.” ― Roy T. Bennett
