The Business Lessons That I Learnt From My Mom
Your Mom Is The Most Eligible Person In Your House To Run A Business
Have you ever noticed that your mom is the most practical person of your family? Even if she’s not working(homemaker) she is the most practical one in the house which qualifies her to be the most eligible person to do business.
I’ve noticed that quality in my mom. She’s a homemaker and has never been into any kind of business before but she’s the one who handles the finances of our house. She’s really disciplined when it comes to spending money(most moms are, I guess).
Recently we had to renovate our house, so my mom dealt with different contractors to do all the necessary works and that is when I realize that my mom is really good at handling any situation smoothly. She was very diplomatic. She also was a master at negotiating the payments and other important stuff. I was very fascinated. I really didn’t know that my mom would handle the renovation work all by herself.
The work was also completed smoothly. Your mom irrespective of her occupation is the best at handling a business since she has more experiences from her day-to-day life than other members of the family. Her potential might not be known to her. Notice the business qualities of your mom and comment in the response section.
The business lessons that I learned from my mom:
- Diplomacy is very important. (It helps when dealing with clients or your business partner)
- Negotiation is Key. ( It helps reducing conflict and it is the key to convince investors)
