Summary

The text is a poetic reflection on the author's eyebrows and the complex emotions they symbolize, alongside a metaphorical nod to the Illumination publishing platform and a humorous nod to the theme of secret missions and espionage.

Abstract

The author of the text uses vivid imagery to describe their eyebrows as "two ravens wings" that express a range of emotions, from chagrin to guileful smiles. The brows serve as a canvas for emotional expression, cosmetically enhanced to frame the eyes. The narrative weaves through themes of anger, love, and curiosity, personifying the eyebrows' movements and emotions. The author also alludes to a partnership with Illumination, entrusting unpublished work to Dr. Mehmet Yildiz, and lightheartedly compares this agreement to a secret agent's mission, complete with a self-destruct directive. The piece concludes with a whimsical twist on the proverb about curiosity and the cat, and a copyright declaration dated April 7, 2020, by R Tsambounieri Talarantas.

Opinions

  • The author seems to view their eyebrows as significant features that convey complex emotions and play a role in their identity.
  • There is a sense of trust and camaraderie expressed towards Dr. Mehmet Yildiz and the Illumination publishing platform, suggesting a safe and respected environment for the author's work.
  • The text humorously juxtaposes the gravity of a secret mission with the act of publishing writings, perhaps to express the importance and vulnerability involved in sharing one's creative work.
  • The author playfully critiques the saying that "curiosity killed the cat," implying that curiosity is often unfairly blamed for the consequences of stupidity.
  • The repeated references to the eyebrows as "ravens wings" suggest a dark, mysterious beauty associated with these facial features.

The Brows

My brows as two ravens wings fanning, take prominence above the. coiffed ridges of my eyes, and

chagrin takes up residence in the principality between them

the distance between my eyes, the length of curiosities demise,

cosmetically altered, to sit upon the Grecian urned ridge of my nose, guileful smiling —

waning in the amber hue of my visions delirium , crossing the bridge of

sighs, the burned out bridges of no return

Anger crosses the bridge on stupidities two left feet, and settles upon the bow of charms love,

the cat meows, belches — yellow canaries,

The ravens wings take rise in flight

popping dialogue bubbles in creamed surprise,

hiccuping my— ruffled feathers — excuse me!,

Stupidity killed the cat — curiosity was blamed.

Dearest, Dr Mehmet Yildiz, I will be publishing my otherwise unpublished posts with Illumination, I know they will be safe in your keeping. If anything should happen to me in the near future… “Your mission Dr. should you decide to accept it… or should you or a member of “ILLUMINATION”, be captured or eliminated, I will disavow any knowledge of your existence. This tape will self- destruct in five seconds. Good luck Dr.” ((giggles)).
