I draw a circle — sun

I rub my hands — sky

I snap my fingers — trees

I take my aim — high

I glide — wings open; atop buildings and trees; burnt orange sky and sunswept breeze; no longer do I cry, praying on my knees.

I open my eyes — Peace

I close my eyes — War

Eyes open again — I see my enemy no more.

I retract my shouting finger and adjust my aim

Wings wide open and the bridge I became
