The Bots Are Continuing the March of Their AI Invasion

If you are an honest real writer, please do your part. Don’t follow or engage with cheaters. Such actions further feed the algorithm and divert your dues to charlatans instead of deserving wordsmiths

I’ve penned a few pieces recently in various pubs. The objective is to reach out to more individuals.

An explosion of bot-generated articles exists on Medium. Some published hundreds of articles in one day!

A group of “explorers” were the most recent culprits. Please be diligent and check email subscribers. They pop up there. Or in comments to stories.

Numerous pieces were written about them. One published 110 stories in two days! To Medium’s credit — thank you — those frauds are gone. Nevertheless, the bot invasion continues. Others still exist.

If we are uninformed, we contribute to the problem by interacting with them. Our dues allocation is diverted to these cheaters.

Wouldn’t you prefer to support writers like yourself? Those who think, who struggle to parse the proper words, who care about the craft of writing, and who are honest?
