The Black Cat and a Lab — Who’s Laughing Now?
A short story about two cats, one dog, and a lady
The random word in this drabble challenge is ‘using’.

Zoey: Mew?
The lady goes to check if Zoey needs food.
Zoey: Hey Cooper, ya know how Buddy always cons me out of dinner?
Cooper: Yep, where’s he now?
Zoey: Going to steal my food.
Cooper: He fits through the door of your hut?
Zoey: Nope. Every day he tries but he’s not thin enough.
Cooper: And?
Zoey: I left food in my dish, I was using it to lure him. So, today he tried pushing through and — voila! He’s stuck.
Cooper: Well played!
Zoey: Thanks!
Cooper: Don’t you feel guilty?
Zoey: Nah, I mewed. The lady will rescue him.
