Summary

The article discusses a method for sustained weight loss by gradually adjusting calorie intake, particularly by reducing carbohydrates, to outsmart the body's metabolic adaptations.

Abstract

The article addresses the common struggle with weight loss and the effectiveness of various dietary recommendations. It introduces the concept of physiological adaptation, where the body's metabolism adjusts to changes in calorie intake, as a key factor in weight management. The author suggests a method of gradually reducing calories by eliminating carbohydrates in phases, allowing the body to adapt without stress. This approach aims to prevent weight loss plateaus and ensure long-term success. The article also touches on the paradoxical effect of metabolism increasing towards the end of the diet, potentially preventing weight regain and even facilitating further weight loss. A link to a nutrition plan is provided for those interested in practical guidance.

Opinions

  • The author believes that the key to successful weight loss lies in understanding and manipulating the body's metabolic adaptations.
  • Traditional weight loss advice, such as burning more calories than consumed, is acknowledged but considered insufficient without addressing metabolic changes.
  • The article emphasizes the importance of a gradual approach to dietary changes, avoiding rapid weight loss that can lead to quick adaptation and weight loss stagnation.
  • The author suggests that by repeatedly reducing caloric intake and then reintroducing carbohydrates, individuals can avoid metabolic slowdown and maintain consistent weight loss.
  • It is proposed that after the diet, the body's metabolism can increase to the point where weight gain is difficult, even when returning to a higher calorie intake.
  • The article promotes a specific nutrition plan and encourages readers to subscribe for more detailed information and continued motivation.

In this article I will tell you about a factor which is considered to be the main one in the whole fat-burning system and which allowed to get rid of excess weight not only to me but also to thousands of other people. And the most important thing is that the extra weight did not come back.

All they say is that you have to spend more than you eat, increase exercise and get a good night’s sleep. This is true, but the problem is how to determine exactly how much to eat in order to lose weight forever.

A typical example, you have a weight of 95 kilograms and want to reduce it to, say, 80 kilograms. At the same time, your diet includes the whole range of products that nutritionists urge to refuse in the first place. You change your diet to a more healthy and low-calorie one. After that, you start to lose weight pretty quickly. But often it happens that happiness does not last long. Having thrown off a certain amount of excess fat, the weight stops in place and ceases to decrease. Why did a diet that was successful in the first stage become useless in the second?

It is all about metabolism, which has a unique feature to speed up or slow down. That is, the basic amount of calories that body spends during the day can change depending on external conditions, and the amount of incoming nutrients. This process is called physiological adaptation. This process was defined by the Russian enlightener, physician and biologist. The founder of the physiological school, Ivan Sechenov.

Physiological adaptation, is a constant adaptation to the conditions of existence. Each organism is a dynamic combination of stability and variability, in which variability serves its adaptive reactions. And consequently, the protection of its hereditary constants.

Of course, not only humans have this ability, but also other living beings. For example, silent walkers or small water bears, when unfavorable conditions come, are able to fall into anabiosis for years. And when favorable conditions come, quickly come back to life. It’s precisely this the unique ability of most living organisms that prevents us to effectively lose weight.

According to Professor Nikolaev’s works, if during the first days a man loses more than 1000 grams of weight each day, in a few days this figure drops to 500 grams and then to 100–150 grams. How then to build your diet to lose weight permanently, over a long period of time?

The scheme is to gradually reduce calories by eliminating carbohydrates from the diet. When we remove some of the excess from our normal diet, then we begin to lose weight. Over time, the body adapts, and we remove the excess again. And then after a few days again. This allows us to avoid unnecessary stress and painlessly enter the diet. And as a consequence, over a long period of time to lose weight.

Each time we remove some of the foods to which the body has already adapted, or replace them, the caloric value of the previous diet decreases. At the moment when we reach the minimum caloric content, it is necessary to stick to such a diet for a month or a month and a half maximum. By this time the metabolism slows down even more, and you almost cease to lose weight effectively.

After that, we also gradually begin to add carbohydrates to your diet. During such a short period of unloading and loading, which lasts about three months, it is possible to qualitatively and painlessly reduce excess weight by 10–15 kilograms or more. It all depends on how much excess weight you were originally. But, the main paradox is that by the end of the diet, the weight practically stands still. And with a slight increase in calories, it starts dropping again. This seems to be due to an increase in metabolic rate. It begins to speed up faster than the calories come in.

Another paradox is that after coming off the diet correctly, and returning to a relatively high caloric intake, people very often cannot gain weight at all. In an attempt to increase muscle mass, the metabolism speeds up so much that people who were overweight six months ago acquire a fast metabolism and burn all the calories that go into them. Of course, the problem of gaining weight is solved by further gradual increase in calories and the correct construction of a training program.

A good solution is to use proven methods with guaranteed health benefits. I recommend one of such options. Follow this link and get a gift with useful information on a nutrition plan and a healthy diet.
