The Best Newsbreak Update Ever
Finally! A change for good.

Newsbreak changed its algorithm. Anyone looking at their network model would have done the same. Look what this platform and YouTube did? Some writers were making some people’s annual income in a month.
Others beat the system by resubmitting their most engaging articles. And they made a few more extra hundreds. Just like that!
Now, those days are over.
And it’s about experiments with ultra-specific topics, lesser-known news, social media buzzing content, and local stories. So we, the small creators, can compete with well-known media publications.
But there is one good change that came along with the update.
So, what is the change and why am I happy about it?
A good change has come from the algorithm shift: faster publication.
In my recent experience since the update, I would submit a story. The article would have an “under review” tag. Then when I look back in 2–3 hours, the post tag says “published”.
I have not had an article go viral since the new algorithm got adopted. I am hoping one happens soon. But I do like that my drafts and resubmissions get released faster.
It’s a great move that benefits you if your story is super time-sensitive — because you want to be the first to air it on the site.
Are you still trying or have you broken up with Newsbreak?
