The first step is to make your tasks small. Don’t say I need to write a 2000 word article, start off with 1 line! Instead of 200 squats, start off with 1. The progress you will make will be enormous when you trick your brain this way.
Now, for the jack-hammer leg advice:
Whenever you feel, during the day, do a set of high intensity squats.
The secret is to go all the way down and keep the proper form.
Do a burst of 10, then have a 20 second break, then another burst of 10. Do this until you reach 100.
Afterwards you should feel a burst of endorphins from the mini workout. Your legs should be tight and pumping, and you should be gasping for air.
This will refresh your body and mind, giving you an extra boost with your other activities whilst also working out your entire legs.
Right now I do 300 a day with 3 random mini workouts of 100 squats. My legs feel extremely powerful as I slowly push to get to 1000.
