The best 100% common Mechanologist class Blitz deck for beginners of Flesh and Blood.

If you are looking for a great place to start in the Flesh and Blood TCG and want a great starter deck perfect for a beginner, look no further. In today’s guide, I showcase the best all-common starter Blitz deck for the Mechanologist class and explain a little bit about my design philosophy. I’ll also show you some rare cards to look out for that can take this deck to the next level as you upgrade along the way. As a baseline, this deck will give you a great feel for how the Mechanologist plays and showcase some of the mechanics of the class.

My design philosophy for the best Flesh and Blood Warrior class Blitz starter deck

• $10 budget (excluding our 11 equipment cards and the hero token which you can expect to pay about $0.25 per piece.) $0.25 per card in the 40-card main deck.
• All common rarity cards.
• No Crucible of War cards until Unlimited print edition is released for the set.
• Deck composition and strategy should reflect class gameplay and ideals.
• Simple and easy to understand with a clear path forward when upgrading.

The Mechanlogist seeks to set up an engine of cards and go wide by using the Boost mechanic, allowing you to banish the top card of your deck and go again if it is a Mechanologist card. Because of this, we try to include as many Mechanologist cards in our deck to meet the deckbuilding criteria to ensure success.

The Mechanologist class seeks to build incremental advantage through an engine and blaze through your deck to hit with an array of boosted attacks. Our main goal is to launch multiple attacks each turn to attempt to push damage through and overwhelm our opponent's defenses. Mechanologist is a very aggressive class and will reward aggression from the start.

Build an engine and steamroll your competition.

Players who like managing an extra resource and ‘artifact-like’ gameplay will enjoy grinding the gears of the Mechanologist class.

Use Achilles Accelerator to gain a valuable action point to close out a powerful turn. Before you use it for its full effect, Achilles Accelerator will also protect you from arcane damage dealt by the likes of Runeblades, Wizards, and Illusionists.

• Use blue cards to generate a lot of resources and feed them into boosted attacks.
• Boost every attack you can if you have another attack to follow up with. Don’t boost otherwise, with Dash, the number of cards remaining in your deck is a resource too.
• Teklo Plasma Pistol is a great way to end a turn with multiple boosted attacks and one leftover resource.
• Boost throughout the game, ensuring your attacks can gain go again to put plenty of pressure on your opponent. But be sure to kill them before you run out of cards in your deck!

There are numerous cheap and effective upgrades to this starter Mechanologist Blitz deck. In general, these are the card slots that we want to drop as soon as possible to make way for some improvements. Many class-specific super-rares and majestics will almost always be worth including in your deck if you have them.

But as a logical next step, here are some cards to ditch, and some cheaper rares to swap them with that will give you a big boost in power with a limited increase in cost.

Note that at the time of publication, many Crucible of War cards (even in common or rare rarity) are quite expensive since the Unlimited print run has not been released for this product yet. As it becomes available, many new cards will be available for Mechanologist at a fraction of the cost the first edition versions are listed for right now.
