The Best Business Model For 2024 And Beyond

This article is not clickbait.

I’m about to give you the best business model going into this year and the future.

This isn’t to say that other business models don’t work.

But the one I’m going to share with you is by far the best.

With that said, just because it’s the best doesn’t mean it’s easy.

This will be challenging if you decide to take part in it.

But I believe the short-term pain will be worth it in the long haul.

Okay, enough dilly dallying.

The apex business model is this:

A personal brand.

Let me explain.

A personal brand is a business model which allows you to earn obscene amounts of money by simply being yourself.

You use the immense leverage that lives within modern technologies, build a passionate audience, and profit until the end of time.

If it sounds simple, it’s because it is.

The only difficulty is getting started and carrying on going.

Although this business model is relatively new, there have already been countless successes.

And personally, I believe anyone with awareness of the opportunity and an appetite for action can make this business model work.

Why?

Because the internet houses 5.3 billion people.

Much of whom spend most of their days on social media.

By creating content and putting your unique perspectives out there, you’ll eventually attract many people who vibe with you.

I have no idea how long this will take you.

It could take 1 year, or it could take 10.

But I cannot see a world where someone tries this model for years and doesn’t succeed.

How is it even possible?

If you’re constantly iterating and improving your skills in this business model, how couldn’t you succeed?

The formula for growing an audience on social media is incredibly simple.

Pump out an astonishing amount of content, don’t stop and gradually find what topics people are interested in.

If those interests overlap with yours, you’ve got a winning blueprint.

Now let’s breakdown what a personal brand is, in case you’re still not sure what it entails.

Personal refers to person.

You know what a person is.

You’re one.

I’m one.

And everyone you know is one.

That one’s easy.

A brand on the other hand can be many things, but we’re not talking about the brands on cows.

We’re talking about business brands.

According to Oxford dictionary, a brand is “a type of product manufactured by a particular company under a particular name”.

Another definition from Wikipedia goes as follows:

“A brand is a name, term, design, symbol or any other feature that distinguishes one seller’s good or service from those of other sellers.”

Loads of companies sell phones that do the same things.

It’s the brands that make them unique.

An iPhone is different to a Samsung Galaxy.

Although they perform the same functions and use much of the same apps, you can tell the difference between the two.

In short, a brand sells stuff and makes it unique.

If you’re sharp, you will have noticed something critical.

And that is that you as a person are also unique.

Therefore, you already have a brand.

You’re just not selling anything under it yet.

This was an insight I learned from Dan Koe and it’s stuck with me ever since.

The idea is this:

You already have a personal brand with people in your life.

Your personal brand is your reputation and it’s built up by the actions you make and the way you make others feel.

When you tip a waiter handsomely at a local restaurant, you’re building a personal brand with that person.

From now on, whenever you enter that restaurant, the waiter will treat you like a king because he associates you with being generous with your tips.

The same principle applies to every other relationship in your life.

Another insight Dan pointed out is that you’re already posting content.

Every text message you send.

Every email you write.

Every meme you share.

Every comment you leave under a YouTube video.

These are all pieces of content that you’re creating.

The only difference is, you’re not sharing it with the public.

When he first pointed this out, I was stunned.

I had no idea that I’d been creating content for years before consciously deciding to pursue a career as a creator.

The only difference was, I was creating content for my existing audience, which are just the people in my life.

When you think about it, the process doesn’t really change.

It’s just your strategy that does.

The point is, you already have a personal brand.

You just didn’t realise it.

Now that you’re aware that everyone on the planet has a personal brand, doesn’t it make sense to try and turn it into a business?

I think it does.
