The Bells Toll
A Warrior goes Home

Life O! Life Death O! Death Fear is the sting of death Time is the enemy of life Humanity is hard gripped by the fear of death And ever pursuing time as it ticks away at life
The reality of living in a world gone mad Filled with destruction, death, disillusion, and despair Where life is cheapened to the price of bread And lifeblood spilt without remorse or care
The heart thus hardened and seared By continuously beholding violence, hatred And man’s inhumanity to man Becomes inoculated against the fear of death Making this declaration that the universe and entities may hear “Should I die young and before my time, may it be said that I did my bit” “Should I die old and full of years, may it be said that I had done my bit”
So, thus is our fear of death defeated And we cease our endless pursuing Chasing after time — the enemy of life Choosing rather to live a life well spent Full and abundant and free
