The Hard Truth About Success
The Barrier That Keeps Us from Reaching Our Full Potential
Challenges that most people face and how you can overcome them

Everybody who has ever tried to do anything big knows that they need to push through barriers in order to get anywhere.
But these barriers are often external, such as a difficult boss or rocky terrain.
What many people don’t realize is that the biggest challenge is often within; feelings, habits, emotions, limiting beliefs.
The hard truth is, we all have an inner judge and jury sitting on our shoulders questioning and commenting on everything we do.
There’s a voice in our heads, constantly nitpicking and criticizing everything. Is that a good idea? Is that the right answer?
The judge creates stress, anxiety, lack of confidence, and self-doubt.
The judge is usually a manifestation of our past experiences or has been forced upon us through the conditioning we have received throughout our lives.
The Bandaid Solution
Over the years I have tried what I believe to be every solution out there.
I’ve read books, listened to audio programs, and attended seminars and workshops.
I have meditated, visualized, and journaled.
I’ve practiced affirmations and set clear intentions.
And there have been times when I have experienced a clear and strong connection to the Universe.
Each time I was in the flow, I felt amazing and life was effortless.
Then, as soon as I’d get back to normal life and forget the steps I had taken to tap into that flow, it would be gone.
Then one day, I realized something important; The path of success is to help you tap into that flow!
The trick is not to do more but to do it differently.
We Are All Born With A Genius Inside Us
Honestly, what is success? I assure you it’s something different for everyone.
For some people, success is being a famous author who spends all day writing and does not have to work a second job (like me).
For the vast majority of people in the world, making a living wage and being able to provide for themselves and their families is an admirable feat.
There are always people who fall outside of this circle of success, but we all have the same goal; to be happy with our lives.
In order to achieve a happy life, one must become successful at something.
This can mean many things; you could be a great artist, a wonderful teacher, or an incredible musician.
But what is success? It’s something that is completely individualized.
Success…what is success? It’s the feeling of pride one gets from finishing a project or the confidence one has in their work.
It’s the sense of satisfaction for having done something worthwhile with their life.
And yet, our society does not promote this sentiment enough, which can make it difficult for people to see themselves as successful.
What is it that holds us back from reaching our full potential? Where does this feeling of inadequacy come from? You may be thinking that this is a question for a therapist or someone in the mental health field.
However, I believe that this is a question for everyone to consider.
It is our unwillingness to admit that we are sometimes wrong that makes us feel inadequate.
I would be willing to bet that there isn’t one person who hasn’t felt like their job, their life or the things they do in their spare time aren’t fulfilling enough.
The judge is usually a manifestation of our past experiences or has been forced upon us through the conditioning we have received throughout our lives.
I believe that this feeling of inadequacy comes from a lack of confidence in ourselves and what we can do with our lives.
It’s not that we’re not confident in our work, but rather the fear of failure or embarrassment can hold us back from doing what makes us happy.
I think by now, everyone has heard of a famous author who quit his job to pursue his dream of writing.
It becomes the stuff of legends, with the story ending in one of two ways; either the man becomes a famous writer and receives the adoration of thousands of people (very James Patterson) or he stumbles upon an incredible story, writes it, and lives to tell the tale.
In this day and age, it’s not so crazy to think that someone would choose to become an author rather than make a living wage.
There is also no shame in choosing to go into law or science.
These are all respectable careers that most people would love to have.
However, what I have noticed is that even though there are no real barriers to success, most people feel like they are not succeeding.
The barrier usually comes from the criticism of our social media profiles or comments made by the people around us.
Everyone is constantly exposed to the views of others and we often take this feedback to heart when it is not constructive or helpful.
In a nutshell, everyone has a mental block that stops them from taking action because of negative comments that others make about them in their social media profiles.
The barrier usually comes from the criticism of our social media profiles or comments made by the people around us.
The Hard Truth About Success
A successful person has many of the same traits, but there is one major difference; with success, people often forget how hard it actually is to accomplish.
By J.D Rehbein-Wrightstein.
Most people who consider themselves successful, once they are recognized and acknowledged by their peers, usually begin to disregard what it really means to be successful.
They believe that all it really takes to be successful is hard work and a lot of money.
But here’s the deal; not only is hard work required but so is staying true to your goals.
All the money in the world will never allow you to reach your goal if you are not willing to do the work that is required to achieve your goal.
Yes, hard work and money are a huge part of becoming successful, but you must stay determined to achieve your goals at all costs.
You have got to be willing to give up everything for this dream you have, whether it’s quitting your job or spending time with friends and family less often.
And no matter how difficult they think it is, some people will never understand the sacrifices you are making in order to reach success.
Many people make the mistake of thinking that once they have achieved success, their lives will immediately become easy, and take care of themselves.
Things aren’t that easy for even those who have reached their goal.
By the time you achieve success, you will have worked very hard to achieve what you have now accomplished.
I can only hope that I have made my point and that you understand what it takes to be successful.
Never settle for success, always strive to be more than you are now, and do not ever allow yourself to believe that what you have now is enough.
You have got to want more than just being an average person who has somehow managed to make it through life without much effort.
