The article critically evaluates the 2020 U.S. presidential election, expressing deep dissatisfaction with both major candidates, Donald Trump and Joe Biden.
Abstract
The author of the article, who self-identifies as left-wing and has previously criticized Donald Trump, conveys a sense of disillusionment with the U.S. political system following the 2020 presidential election. The piece is edited to include a "told you so" moment, reflecting the author's past predictions about Joe Biden's shortcomings. Despite acknowledging Biden as the lesser of two evils compared to Trump, the author argues that Biden's presidency is far from a cause for celebration, citing his stance on women's rights, cognitive decline, and past political decisions, such as supporting the Iraq war. The article suggests that the choice between Trump and Biden was akin to choosing between two undesirable options, highlighting broader issues within Western democracy. The author's frustration is palpable, particularly with the system that allowed such candidates to rise to power and the public's acceptance of mediocrity in leadership.
Opinions
The author has a strong personal dislike for Donald Trump, describing feelings of visceral loathing and referring to him as "IQ45" and "Groper In Chief."
Joe Biden is criticized for being seemingly indifferent to women's rights, health care, and climate change, and for his past support of the Iraq war.
The author believes that Biden's cognitive abilities are questionable, likening his intelligence to "ditch water."
The article suggests that many Americans voted for Trump not out of genuine support but as a strategic vote against Biden.
There is a clear disappointment in the Democratic party's choice to nominate Biden, with the author citing Biden's perceived weakness, dishonesty, and lack of integrity.
The author expresses despair over the state of Western democracy, indicating that the election of Trump and the celebration of Biden's victory are symptoms of deeper systemic issues.
The piece concludes with a scathing quote about Biden's political career, labeling him as a typical politician who has caused harm through his decisions and lacks moral character.

Edited September 2021 to add — told you so:
‘I am not sending my boy back there to risk his life on behalf of women’s rights!’ the vice president shouted.”
I’ve written about Donny Dumpsterfire before. Nobody who has been following my words could possibly think for even a second I’m either right wing, or a fan of the bloat king.
But then so are many cow pats, pot plants and household pets, including my cat.
My cat, my photo, all rights reserved
Biden’s touchy feely, but not actually rapey. He doesn’t give a shit about women’s rights, but he didn’t tell everyone he wants to sleep with his daughter. He’s apparently as dumb as ditch water, or has suffered some sort of severe cognitive decline, but he hasn’t been bankrupted 5 (or was it 6?) times. He’d probably be quite nice to sit next to at dinner.
My personal visceral loathing of IQ45 knows few bounds. I can barely refer to him by name, I cannot watch more than 30 seconds of him speaking, I catch sight of his squirmy caterpillar lips and his pitiful comb over and my fists start itching. This is the best description of the Groper In Chief I have read to date:
Even the blindest radicalised leftist cannot possibly imagine Trumplethinskin received 70 million votes because 70 million people genuinely thought he was the best choice for President. For many, he was just considered the less horrible choice of two.
Many didn’t admit it out loud, because to speak up against Wokeferatu idealogies is to be hounded and burned at the stake, but it’s easy to surmise (and many even stated it flatly) that they were voting strategically against Biden, rather than for Herr Dump.
My reasons for not liking or trusting Biden and his counsel are manifold. And I would bet good money you already know them, but have dismissed them for reasons of “insert cognitive dissonance here”.
What really matters about the recent American election is that when your choice is between a rabid mongrel dog and a sly old dingo, something is very off indeed.
And that goes for the entire Western system of democrafarcy.
The fact that the rampantly misogynistic Tangerine Tantrum was ever voted into power at all is proof enough that something is very rotten in the West. That we’re all supposed to be cheering for the winner because he’s not actually a wife beater or daughter sleazer, while still being anaemic on health care, deeply uncaring about women’s rights and a wokemongering decrepit dodderer, makes me feel something close to despair.
When you feel like you’re the only one to see what is so obvious, that the man whom a loud contingent are currently cheering is unworthy, unpleasant and uninterested in much except for gaining and keeping power — well, like Hamlet said “Go to, I’ll no more on’t. It hath made me mad”.
So yeah, I’m glad the man who should never have been taken seriously as anything except a horrible warning is dissolving in a screeching puff of testerical fury, and I hope that finally he may receive some much-deserved punishment for his crimes.
But I’m just not able to bring myself to pretend that Joseph Biden is anything like a suitable candidate for the job.
But you voted. So long live Biden — the man who doesn’t give a shit about women, health care, or climate change, but did support the Iraq war and then leave the women and children of Afghanistan to be raped and rounded up.
Well done. I guess.
“The reason many of us are so turned off by Joe Biden is that, over the course of a many-decade career in Washington, he has let us down on the key issues when it matters most. Joe Biden has shown himself to be fundamentally weak, unreliable, and dishonest. He gets taken advantage of by Republicans, and he seems more interested in making friends than advancing Democratic ideals. Biden, ultimately, is truly “just another politician”: a guy who will give you a warm smile and then sell you out behind closed doors, a person who will make terrible decisions and grubby deals and then cover them up with lies. He adopts a “middle class” image but sucks up to the rich and powerful, and has contempt for ordinary voters and their concerns. He’s a man with little integrity or moral character, whose choices in office have caused a lot of people a lot of harm.”
