NEW CONTEST ALERT-LITERARY IMPULSE

The Artistic Window

An Introduction to the upcoming series on Literary Impulse

Art is that window which helps us see those colours which will always be a dream for us. Maybe that’s why we wander in Monet’s Lily pond and are dazzled by the vibrant Van Gogh Sunflower. Maybe that’s why we nurture a different love for those paintings nestled in the museum by Picasso and Matisse. We writers are intrigued by that world which we never saw and that’s why we keep searching for that another universe.

We are here to announce an exciting series which we will be doing in collaboration with the illustrators who will be providing us their art for the prompt. Each prompt will be active for two weeks and you are welcome to come with your interpretation for the same. All the other details would be mentioned in our next post.

The first prompt will be by amazing artist and writer Era Garg

Other illustrators involved in this collaboration are Monoreena Acharjee Majumdar, Tej, Souminibanerjee and Lubna Yusuf.

Submission is open for the Spring Issue of ShabdAaweg Review
