My experience on writing about research on Medium

Recently, I have published an article, Is serotonin linked with depression?

The article basically deals with the ongoing debate on serotonin and its connection with depression. As, the study of Moncrieff and Horowitz raises fierce debate among psychiatrist so, I want to start negotiation on Medium, but all went wrong. My article did not get many views and reads, so how is it possible to know about different point of view.

The research of Moncrieff and Horowitz is no less than a revolution in the science. I read about mainstream psychiatry research from AFP news agency. I get curious after reading the article on serotonin and depression. I really like the views of different psychiatrist and the efforts of Moncrieff and Horowitz in their research. All he views are right to some extent, but one can not stick to one argument to prove the previous researches wrong. So there is a lot of work to do to prove the stance about depression and serotonin.

I found reading the research about depression very interesting, and thought to share with fellows. My purpose was to discuss this hallmark research with great people such as Medium writers.

As I am sticking to Medium, so I thought to share the new research on depression. I was curious to get responses from great writers, but all went wrong. Even writers just clap and go. You can see in the screenshot share below.

I was not expecting such response. The article on depression made me depressed. I am feeling a doubtful about writers, but I am not taking this to the heart. It’s ok to get 3 reads and 9 fans. I want to share something new and good with people, and I did it.

In all this, I have learned that very few people on Medium are not interested in research topics. Some are curious to explore the new things, while the rest want to follow the same path, such as clapping blindly. I think I should take serotonin this time. LOL.

This incident also increases my creativity as I create a funny and serious title. It also gives me a laugh when I say I should take serotonin in this situation. Well, I am enjoying with what is going on with me on Medium.

I also came across “feedly.com”. I do not what is the purpose of this website, but my article on serotonin linked with depression getting views from feedly. Feedly basically gathers the best articles from different websites and shown it up to different audience. You can search for more details.

I am also thankful to all those who hang on with me.
