The Article

A lot to think about.

I read this article today and it scared me to death.

Basically, it says that since we are a capitalistic country and not a more social country we are not going to make it out of the pandemic and our society is in for a bad, bad future. I am not saying we should be a socialist society, but need to be more aware of how one thing effects another thing when it comes to a group dynamic.

It is every man for himself. Instead of helping others and keeping families together and not throwing them out when they become “of age” but helping family members do better generation to generation. It is very difficult living here in the U.S. People pushing others down so they can be the best and making it big so they can live comfortably.

Living comfortably is becoming harder and harder to do and now the pandemic, the mismanagement of it, and how society thinks about it, is destroying our livelihood.

It is difficult and it is becoming more difficult every day. Not every year, every day.

When you read the article above look at the graph. It is mind-boggling how there is so much difference between the “rich” countries and the poorer countries and how the poorer ones are surviving better. It is not that they have fewer people as they have a more communal society. They follow the rules because it is good for all, not just good for some. America has a long way to go with that premise.

It is said over and over again “We are in this together” but what does that mean? Some people know, most people don’t. You know why? Because they don’t see it in any way shape or form. It is B.S. to them and it is B.S to me as well.

The government isn’t going to help all that much no matter who the next POTUS will be. The economy is not coming back soon, it can’t possibly. The mask is not “taking away your freedom”, you are, by not wearing one when you are supposed to.

I heard on the news yesterday that a new vaccine will not be available and safe until next June 2021. The next year is going to be the same as this year until people smarten up until government stops promising and starts fulfilling those promises, until we change our minds about helping our families, close friends, and dedicating our time to social issues, the environment, and animal care.

We can’t keep taking from this earth and expect resources not to run out. We can’t expect to help the earth when we eat so much beef, chicken, etc. We can all change our minds and fix all of this.

We are very powerful beings! How powerful? Think about it. Think about all the inventions that have popped into the human mind and how they have come into fruition. Think about all of the improvements that have been made in medicine, through science, technology and on and on. We are very powerful beings!

Let’s fix this because I know we can!
