Poem
The Apocalypse’s New Song
And a flash of light

Exhale slowly. Time is an infinite rolling Like a rosary in an old man’s hands. It is a thieve — inevitably stealing The youth that pretends all to understand. A flash of light. A thunder crushes the darkness But you’re here, invincible and strong. We live in times so terrible and heartless This endless rain is the apocalypse’s new song.
Don’t close your eyes, just look into my darkness ’Cause I’ve been there truly for so long. Look in the distance, a tiny light now sparkles It will help me to see where I belong. Exhale slowly. Do you see the glimmer — An orb is a floating hope in the dark. The Moon is yellow, flickering, and slimmer. The greyish cloud over it is a mark.
When I am gone, believe me, all my nuclei Will be there — deep into your heart. All we have is sincere, bright, and clear No element will ever throw it apart. With every rain, I will be back again The thunders will summon my return. Together we will overcome the pain. Just let my heart with the deepest love burn.

Thank you for reading my poem.
I know that the poetic images in this poem are rather surreal. Not just the things around us, but sometimes our inner world crashes, and we feel unstable. In such moments, we need a tiny flickering light to follow us.
I hope it’s not an oncoming train. :)
