OF THE HEART

The Ancient Language of Two Souls

Thursday Prompt: Sex is a sacred connection

I remember the tears rolling down the creek of my face, as I stare into my beloved eyes. Body merged as one, filling the entire canvas of our spiritual oneness. With every thrust, tears fall — souls screaming, You and I forever, please.

They say it is the sweetest of things: I say it is the beautiful-lest. I say nothing is more sacred, for it is as far as sacredness goes. The secret ancient intimate language of two souls — stripping themselves bare before each other. Risking all of self, for the self and for the other.

I pierce deep into my beloved, with eyes that say, this is all I am and all I could be. Do you love what you see? Would you accept me as I am? No veil! No shelter! Me, in all my glory and insufficiencies. There is nothing left of me — it’s all stripped naked before your eyes.

When I saw this prompt, I was filled with emotions. My heart and soul answered the prompt. But as always, my mind was fruitless. Again, my heart and soul has conceived something my mind cannot articulate. But it is okay, I think it says. Certain things doth not need be said, only felt — my mind said.

How can I write what I think of it? Is it beautiful? I feel it is more than that. It is sweet, yes? That doesn't do it justice. Does it build connections? The soul's way is deeper than that. My teacher taught me; “he that is joined with the Father (God), is but one spirit.” Ye! That is it — that is how Sex feels when it involves two hearts.

That is a Sacred connection.

I want to thank 𝘋𝘪𝘢𝘯𝘢 𝘊. for this week Thursday prompt. I have a lot of values reading through the works of others like Spyder, William J Spirdione, Melanie J., Dean K Miller, Mario López-Goicoechea and many others. Somehow this prompts is starting to build connections among members of this group. And long may it continue.
