One of my favorite things about Korean food is the banchan. A South Korean comedian, Kim Joon Hyun, says,

“There’s no banchan that’s meant to be a decoration. They make a meal more delicious.”

In Chinese Medicine, spinach is referred to as yin because it is a blood tonifier. Most Westerners know that spinach has loads of iron and fiber. Think Popeye for strength, too!
