The 4 Signs Something Needs to Be Changed in Your Life
Things crawl slowly, but these 4 are real red flags

It happens slowly, so slowly that you might not notice it until you hit your limit and feel like your whole life sucks. It’s not too late, but the more you wait, the more things will be difficult to change. Here are 4 red flags that might help you notice when something needs to be changed in your life.
1. Your inner fire no longer burns
You feel it, right here in your chest. When everything’s right, you feel your inner fire burning, raging deep down, and it illuminates everything. It warms you. As long as feeling it is a sign that you’re on the right path, noticing its disappearance might be the sign that you’ve drifted away from your rails. It might be time to start reconnecting to your true self, by asking yourself the right questions and answering honestly. I mean, honestly. You know what I mean. Don’t lie to yourself, you are not your own enemy. It’s quite the opposite.
2. You feel trapped, heavy and tied
It’s kind of an overall feeling. You might notice it in your mind but also in your chest, sometimes in your stomach and in your shoulder. You feel anything but free. It’s like something is holding you back, tying you up, trapping you inside your own self. It’s the same feeling as after a long day when you feel your muscles being tense. It’s only when someone comes and offers you a massage that you finally relax, and you notice how much you were in tension. It’s the same thing, but inner.
3. You lack motivation
Everything seems meaningless. You can’t find any more purpose in what you do. The truth is: you no longer have motivation. In the book The Power of Meaning, written by Emily Esfahani Smith, the author explains that there are 4 pillars of meaning: belonging, purpose, storytelling, and transcendence. Here, we’re talking about purpose. If you no longer feel purpose, you can’t find meaning, so there’s no motivation. You feel like saying “so what?” “what for?” all day long. Reconnect to what you want. Ask yourself the key question.
4. You feel sad without a concrete reason
This one is very frustrating. You wake up one day, or suddenly stop in the middle of a joyful conversation, and start feeling sad and empty. Our brains keep processing information all the time, even when we’re not conscious of it. It might be the sign that there’s a rock somewhere, and your mind keeps stumbling across it, unable to figure out how to overcome it. This rock is probably the thing you need to change.
Don’t be afraid to make the necessary changes in your life. Everything is possible, and you can do it. Trust yourself.
