The Four-Legged Faith
Faith defined

It takes a faithful heart to understand faith in all its ramifications.
A faith that has been tested doesn’t crawl in the dust, or stroll on the footpath. A true faith runs on the highway. It runs on four legs. It runs on: “Now”, “Substance”, “Hope”, and “Evidence”.
What is faith?
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” Hebrews 11:1.
Faith is Now
Faith doesn't look at yesterday’s failure and what we couldn't achieve in the time past. It looks upon now.
Faith is our miracles and blessings in the now. It is always in the present.
Faith is a Substance
Faith is when we mention the names of our unborn kids and grandchildren in our prayer every night. It is when you plan your 80th years birthday at 30 or 40.
Faith is when a single lady knows she is not married, she is not yet pregnant but she goes on to buy baby clothes and keeps.
Faith is when a single girl goes to price a wedding gown in the market even when no one has engaged her. Faith is when you list down the names of your bridal trains and choose the color of the day for your wedding even without a serious engagement.
Faith is when you include a new degree in your CV even when it is yet to be badged. Faith is when we make plans having 10 years in view.
Faith is Hope
Faith is hope in hopelessness. It is your eyes on the sparrow. Even when the darkness hampers my view on the sparrow, I keep my fixation, believing that the sparrow lives.
Faith is faith in hopelessness. It is the reason we believe that there are better days ahead.
Faith is Evidence
What evidence do you have to show that you deserve to see tomorrow? Faith!
You say the Lord liveth? What evidence do you have to show for it? Faith!
You said you shall be the first and not the last. Who told you? Faith!
My faith is on the Highway. It is four-legged. It moves on “Now”, “Substance”, “Hope”, and “Evidence”.
