The 4 Best Bets to Make For NFL Week 10
We went a perfect 3–0 with our bets last week! Everything fell into place and there’s some great spots for NFL week 10 where I think we can continue this hot streak. First let’s get into what worked for us and then we’ll get into our NFL week 10 bets.
What Went Right?
All 3 bets went right for us. After Dalvin Cook and his Vikings ran over the Packers on the road the week prior we relied on them to do the same at home over the Lions. Minnesota won 34–20 to cover the spread. We took the over in the Seattle vs Buffalo game and the Bills won 44–34 to beat the over by more than 3 touchdowns! The final bet we had was Tennessee over Chicago with a -6.5 spread. Titans went on to beat the Bears by 7 to give us a perfect 3–0 for Week 9.
NFL Week 10 Bets
The games I’m most excited for this Sunday are the late games in the afternoon. The first game I’m focused on is the Buffalo Bills heading out west to take on the Arizona Cardinals. Everyone is expecting a shootout here. Buffalo’s offense has been on fire scoring 44 points last week and Arizona is also loaded up with some great offensive weapons. The Bills have only lost 2 games this season and they were to Kansas City and Tennessee. Two of the hottest teams in the AFC. The Cardinals have a winning record at 5–3 but have fallen to lesser competition losing to the Lions, Panthers, and Dolphins. In regards to slowing down the passing yards from these two young talented quarterbacks we look to the pass defenders. Although the Bills have taken a major step down in terms of their pass defense since last season they now have a healthy Tre’Davious White back on the field. Meanwhile the Arizona Cardinals may be playing without their top safety Budda Baker. Even if he does play he’ll be dealing with a groin injury that has kept him out of practice. Not the ideal spot to be in when trying to stop this high powered Buffalo offense. I like Buffalo getting points here.
I’m never thrilled taking a large favorite in the NFL. Even the worst teams have a roster of professional caliber players that can win on any given Sunday. But we’ve seen what happens to the San Francisco 49ers when their team has been ravaged by injury. The Niners are without their starting quarterback, their star tight end George Kittle, and no Tevin Coleman. On the defensive side they won’t have Nick Bosa or Richard Sherman. Not to mention injuries to their wide receivers, offensive linemen, defensive linemen, and defensive backs. The most telling news is that Raheem Mostert should be cleared to play this week but is being held out as a precaution. This tells me that San Francisco is not going to take their chance playing him in a game that they have no shot of winning. Their opponent this week is one of the hottest teams in the NFC right now, The New Orleans Saints. The Saints have won 5 straight games coming off of a 38–3 decimation of their toughest division rivals. The Saints have Michael Thomas back and if they show up to play, or just show up at all, they should have their way with the 49ers at home.
The last undefeated team in the NFL, the Pittsburgh Steelers, will be hosting their division rival Cincinnati Bengals. The Steelers are coming off of a very close win over the Dallas Cowboys last week. Pittsburgh may have taken the Cowboys lightly but I don’t see them making that mistake again this week against the Bengals. Ben Roethlisberger has been out of practice this week due to Covid restrictions but he should be set to play this Sunday. On the defensive side of things, Pittsburgh leads the league in sacks per game. Going up against a rookie quarterback with a weak offensive line will make for a very long day for Cincinnati. I don’t see the Bengals defense being able to do the same against Roethlisberger and James Conner. Pittsburgh should cover and go on to be 9–0.
The Monday Night game for Week 10 is another division rivalry as the Minnesota Vikings travel to Chicago to take on the Bears. This will be the third straight game that the Vikings will be taking on a division rival. With the return of Dalvin Cook they’ve been running right through their competition. Cook has been the most impressive player in the NFL over these last couple weeks. That’s not to say he’s a one-man team. Kirk Cousins has had 4 touchdowns and 0 interceptions over the last two weeks. While Minnesota is facing positive momentum the Chicago Bears are moving in the opposite direction. The Bears have lost 3 straight games and they’ll try to reverse that trend this Monday. While their defense is the best part of their game I just don’t see them stopping or slowing down this fiery Minnesota offense. And when Chicago has the ball I can’t imagine Nick Foles coming through with a win here. Especially with RB David Montgomery and WR Allen Robinson both listed as questionable. I like Minnesota to win and cover this Monday.
The Kris Bets This…
